I had a sudden and most unexpected heart attack at around 7am on Saturday 24th September 2016 and was taken by ambulance to St Georges. It is difficult to actually know where to start as the truly wonderful treatment that I received (actually started by the paramedic, who were brilliant) began immediately on my arrival as though this team of people where actually waiting for me to arrive - i live in Wimbledon only a few minutes away so how they were all assembled so quickly is quite beyond me. I know that I'm going to run out of superlatives but the words are really not there to describe my thanks and gratitude to everyone concerned for what was done for me. This was my first ever hospital visit so I can make no comparisons but even so I am only to aware just how fortunate I have been to have been taken to St Georges. Throughout my entire stay of five days I was treated with nothing but kindness and the utmost consideration by everyone that I came in contact with and I wish my most grateful thanks be given to everyone from the bottom of (my still functioning) heart. I shall never forget anyone of them.
