"Emergency admission"

About: John Radcliffe Hospital / Accident and emergency

In August 2016 I was admitted to EAU on a Sunday evening. On Monday I was transferred to Ward 5a where I stayed for 4 days. I was seen by the Consultant and their medical team and soon diagnosed with Sepsis. The treatment I received from all members of staff was exemplary and I could not have had better care. My husband and I felt that we had 'won the postcode lottery' living so near to such a wonderful hospital.

Our sincere apologies for the delayed response to this. Thank you so much for taking the time to provide this feedback about your experience of our accident and emergency services. It's great to hear that you had such a positive experience in our EAU department and subsequently on ward 5A. It is lovely to know that you and you felt so well looked after during what must have been a very difficult time. It is great to hear that you and your husband felt fortunate to live near the John Radcliffe. Your comments will be passed on to the EAU and 5A teams. Thank you again.
