"Do they actually know what they are doing?"

After a second disc decompression surgery I encountered double the residual pain and weakness to my right leg (left leg suffered nerve damage from first operation resulting in foot drop and no feeling below knee).Requested doctor re-refer me back to my specialist and instead got referred to GSK.Attended appointment only to repeat leg raise tests and run through the whole 16 years events, something you would have thought would be contained in my notes.Recieved a letter stating they request my MRI which was done before my operation nearly 2 years previous and would be happy to refer me to physio or acupuncture.Absolute waste of time, after many discussions with various specialists even I am aware that an MRI is out of date after 6 months let alone 2 years and after surgery.Just another way to prolong treatment that people so desperately need.No wonder there are vast amounts of people unable to work due to sickness, maybe instead of looking to cut benefits of these people get them the treatment and support that they need to be able to return to work.
