I went into Fulwood Hall hospital for my second total hip replacement operation on the 19th September 2016. I had the operation that evening and returned to my room at around 20.45 in the evening. The following morning i was walking on Elbow Crutches up and down the hallways with the Physiotherapists , i took considerable care not to trip or overdo the exercize.
In the afternoon requested to be allowed to attempt the stairway, this is the test procedure that must be completed before being allowed to go home,
I completed 3 tests,
I was told that providing there was agreement i would be allowed to go home the next day.
The total time i spent in hospital between going into surgery and discharge was 44 Hours.
Without the Exceptional Skills of the
Surgeon, Theater Staff, Wonderful Nurses, Physiotherapists and the Hotel services I could not have achieved such an early Discharge.
"Great Skills and Great Nursing Give wonderful..."
