"Renal ward G7"

About: Queen Alexandra Hospital / Nephrology

(as a relative),

What a fantastic team of professionals. My partner was sent to the renal unit at QA as an emergency. Her condition came out of nowhere and was a huge shock to us. She was treated by such amazing people from start to finish. She was only discharged at the end of September so had a three week stay.

I can honestly say that every member of staff we met on G7 deserves a medal. My partner was in some distress on several occasions and was treated with dignity and given privacy by the nurses. They were all working extremely hard to make everyone there feel like an individual.

The Doctors were all fantastic, speaking to us in plain English and giving us lots of information about her condition and what outcomes we were likely to expect. I wish to thank everyone who made such a great effort to save my partners life.
