"Worried after ENT appointment"

About: King's Mill Hospital / Ear, Nose and Throat

(as the patient),

I attended an appointment at ENT yesterday because I have a constant whooshing in my ears and pain. This has been going on since April and I have seen my GP on numerous occasions who said there is no infection.

During my appointment the audiologist said there was nothing wrong with my ears. I asked why I was in pain and he responded that he didn't know and I should probably have an MRI in case it was more serious. He then sent me on my way.

As I suffer from anxiety I was terrified by this. My mum contacted my GP who advised we call ENT and ask them to fax over the appointment notes. We did this and they agreed to type them and send them to the GP first thing today as a priority.

I called my GP today at 11. 35am and the notes have not been sent. I have been so worried all night and ENT act completely indifferently to this.
