"Disgusting"

About: Doncaster Royal Infirmary / Maternity care

I would never have another baby at dri, through my whole pregnancy I have not been happy with the service which was provided, but the labour was worse, I went into hospital on the Monday to be induced and I wasn't seen by anyone for 2 hours I was just pushed into a room and left I wasn't advised that anyone was going to come and see me I had to find out for myself after waiting for 2 hours, after been induced I was telling one of the midwives during the night that I was having a lot of pain and that i was in labour, the midwife said I wasn't and that I should try and get some sleep after a hour the pain was unbearable and I was convinced my waters had broken I told the midwife and the midwife said they would examine me, the midwife examined me and said my waters hadn't gone and that I was 3cm which they couldn't believe, they then organised for me to go to the labour ward which I did, the midwives I had during labour was excellent, just before my baby was born it was shift cbhange and I got another midwife 10 mins after my baby was born and they tried pushing my placenta out and it broke and I lost a ltr of blood due to this, when I went to the post natal ward it was just as bad, I felt the care wasn't very good and I had to discharge myself as they kept telling me I could go home and then find a excuse to why I couldn't.
