"Can't thank you enough"

About: Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust

I was rushed to FPH on Thursday morning 29/09/16 with a pain in my chest which I thought was a football injury which I occurred last Sunday. I believe I was taken straight to CCU where a team of experts were ready and waiting for me, the Doctor that examined me told me I had had a heart attack and had put 2 stents in me and showed me what had happened, I was awake through the procedure, they reassured me all the way through the procedure and I could not thank them enough an excellent 5 star team. I then was taken to the CCU ward where the Sister of the ward greeted me with a smile explained who they were and what was going to happen to me, also all the nurses introduced themselves to me also with a smile. I was in FPH for 3 days and each shift were polite and never let the smiles goe missing from there faces how they do this I can only say professionals. I would also like to say thanks to the people who served the meals made the teas and also to the cleaners. Having a heart attack I thought it would scare me no I was more scared of the needles. The staff always maintained professional in there jobs and kept me smiling and laughing in my stay. I will be coming back in 4 to 6 weeks for another vein to be repaired and truthfully I am not scared because the way I was treated and the way they treated other patients ( except for the needles) thanks again to all that looked after me I can't thank you enough. Even though it has only been 4 days now I still haven't smoked a cigarette but yes it is hard I said I would stop and I intend to keep my promise to the nice Doctor, Sisters, and nurses, not forgetting the person who served my food, I I do hope they all get to read this even though my grammar is not very good, like I said can't wait to go back in a few weeks time because I knew I will be looked after, thanks again Dave
