Last night a close friend of mine aged 70plus was taken into the North Staffs Hospital as an emergency with a violent nose bleed that would not stop. On entering the emergency department someone was brought in strapped to a stretcher who I thought was acting completely out of her mind, swearing etc.
My friend was moved to another room and was not seen by a medical person until 5AM, then arriving home by ambulance at 11 45am. Can this be right that a person suffering with cancer already and having the violent nose bleed was left? I don’t think this is how our NHS should work.
