"Being given an extra lease of life"

About: Addenbrooke's Hospital / Hepatobiliary and pancreatic surgery

(as the patient),

After 2. 5 months having been in ICU and high dependancy wards, I was transferred by ambulance from an Essex Hospital to ward C7 Addenbrookes hospital, things were extremly touch and go and prognosis wasn't very good. I spent another 3. 5 months on ward C7, where most of the staff became friends from the cleaner Brian, Teresa the supplier of meals to all the nursing and care staff including Barry, Hayley, 2 Sarah's Michell, Marta, Crodrita (not sure if thats how you spell it) Cherie, Shinie the best person ever for finding veins and many others whom I can't remember all their names, to Mr Jah and his team.

I will never forget all the love care and friendship I received from very dedicated people.

If anyone should ever read this or if you ever have to stay on ward C7 I can only tell you they are the best!

Thank you to you all, I will forever be indebted to you for giving me back my life.

As a thank you for all you do I have recently raised £2, 500 for Pancreatic Cancer Research, which I hope will be used to help with the treatment of other patients on C7.
