My Dentist gave me a letter to refer me to be seen at the dental hospital. I was referred after having a accident and falling hitting a wall knocking my front teeth right back. Aintree hospital pushed them forward and put a temporarily splint that fell off. I arrived and after giving the letter to the receptionist she mentioned I might not get seen today. She glanced at the letter and called for someone to come speak to me. The lady who came glanced at my teeth and said they would see me and to come back a couple of hours later that day.
Came back and was asked to go and wait in waiting room 3. So I checked in and sat down. Got called on time and was taken through to be seen. The doctor introduced themselves and told me they were a fifth year student and started asking questions about my problem and writing in down. The student told me that a specialist wanted to see me due to my injury.
After I saw the specialist they told the student to do the work and I was booked in to see them the following week for a checkup. The student gave me quite a lot of needles due to the fact I was not going numb completely. Another member of staff came in and gave me another needle. They pushed my teeth into a better position and then they put a splint on my teeth to keep them more stable. I was sent for a xray before I went home.
Every single of member of staff I saw was warm and friendly. The student who did all the work for me was really good, friendly and made sure I knew what was happening.
