"Radiology students"

About: St Peter's Hospital (Chertsey)

I do work for another nhs trust in radiology on the day of my xray I was xrayed by a lovely radiographer, then a student came in and introduced them-self while setting up 2 other students entered the room and didn't introduce themselves as a nhs worker I know my rights and the need to train perhaps the Kingston radiography course has to teach how to be polite. Also seems my xray was reported the same day wow that is good but was not sent to my gp until they phoned on the 27th to be faxed the report for that week and a half I was desperate to go back to work the NHS trust I work for.Sadly when I showed the manager my certificate and my gp kindly printed me my xray report my manager recognised the radiographer name. The radiograher went above and beyond but the system around them is failing. Now I'm waiting for physio which will take a long time. All I ask is the students to follow the protocol My name is... and the administration should be sending reports timely like the trust is do btw that's every day

We are pleased to hear that many elements of your visit to our radiology department were positive, but sorry to hear our students did not introduce themselves. Thank you for providing this feedback, which will pass onto the radiology team, so they can remind future students of the importance of this. We are also sorry about the delay in getting the report to your GP and again, will pass this feedback on.
