"Leave people to starve"

About: Royal Cornwall Hospital (Treliske) / Emergency Department

The hospital leaves people to starve if they have allergies to milk or special dietary requirements. I was offered cereal, asked if there was any soya milk, was simply told no and had to go without any breakfast. Pointlessly offered a packet of biscuits that said it may contain milk. After having fallen in a lake and being taken by emergency ambulance, it was made clear in the morning by one staff member that I was a burden. Despite having a mental illness, the staff were going to leave me to walk for over 8 miles, on crutches, with a serious sprain to my ankle and carrying two bags, if I hadn't been able to contact my university and get someone from there to assist me in getting home. Would strongly advise against going to Treliske if you can help it. Not at all surprised the QCC said it needs improvement.
