"Very disemboweling experience"

Accompanied my son for colonoscopy procedure. This was rescheduled by a week without consulting us about the new date and we were notified so late that my son had already fasted and taken the bowel prep by the time we realised it was now to be a week later. They then wouldn't arrange for more prep medication to be sent out ( son no car as he's a student in the city and we live considerable distance away). On the day they took him from reception and wouldn't let me accompany whilst he waited. No information whilst I waited. I just sat in Reception not able to leave to get food or drink as I never knew when he would be back. Coffee in Reception is expensive and tasteless. Yes building is very modern looking but what you really want from private medicine is reassurance, information and involvement, which has not been our experience at all.
