Whilst I think the idea of rating healthcare like one might a toaster on Amazon to be totally ridiculous, I wanted to balance some less good reviews on here with my experience; I was hit in my right hand with an aircraft propeller and suffered extensive breaks to my thumb which threatened my career as a dentist. The plastics team (along with the orthopaedics I believe) carried out some heroic surgery which I am eternally grateful for, and I am now back to work unencumbered. They were so fantastically professional all the way through and for my aftercare too -- my registrar even came out of theatre to see how I was doing at my dressings change clinic week later. I am so incredibly grateful to them all!

Thank you for providing feedback on your experience of Plastic Surgery at University Hospital, Coventry after your serious accident.

It is really gratifying to read that the Plastic Surgery and Orthopaedics teams provided you with such fantastic care, which allowed you to return to work as a dentist.

In particular, it was lovely to read your description of how the registrar came to see how you were doing when you returned to the hospital as an Outpatient.

This is exactly the standard of care which we aim to provide to all our patients.
