About: Gloucestershire Royal Hospital / Trauma and orthopaedics

What an experience.. Was originally going to the Winfield hospital (Private Hospital) but due to possible complications with an underlying condition the procedure had to be moved to GRH, from that moment the private patient group took control....The whole experience has been faultless, care has been first class. My only gripe was directly after surgery i was extremely hungry and had been dreaming of egg and chips, this unfortunately was not available and I did lose my temper with the staff (I have apologised). I would suggest in pre op having a lite bite menu available sandwiches etc so the patient can choose something in advance to have in post op. The ward I was looked after on was 3A, the press is always quick to publish problems with hospitals, there are probably some with GRH but I was never aware of any. Fantastic surgeon, theatre staff and amazing ward staff.

Thank you. xxxxx
