"Caring, under pressure but professional at all..."

About: Pennine Acute Hospitals NHS Trust

I attended Oldham A&E last week with my son who dislocated his elbow, from arriving at A&E, the receptionist took us straight through to a cubicle after booking in with them, the care that my son received from the porters, xray & nursing staff, Dr & A&E consultant were absolutely fantastic.

They were amazing, my son felt safe all the way through, their care, empathy & professionalism shone through and as parents but us both at ease and we were in, seen, treated and discharged within four and half hours. The department was under pressure due to the volume of patients but not once did this show through whilst they were treating my son.
