"Staff fine and helpful and apparently ..."

About: Trafford General Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

Staff fine and helpful and apparently under some pressure

What could be improved

Waiting Time

Anything else?

Could not understand why having spent two hours at the hospital for a hearing examination I was then told that as I needed hearing aid(s) I would have to be referred to Warrington Hospital for attention. Surely,as my address was evident to them from my records I should have been told immediately that I should refer to Warrington as it is now, having already waited since February for an appointment,I have to wait for Trafford to write to Warrington who, presumably, will then write to me to make an appropriate appoiuntment with them, which could be, as I am sure you will agree, a further lengthy waiting period.all very frustrating and not helping my hearing at all.

What happened to patients' rights in this scenario.
