It all started in the morning when I rang nhs direct, they said I shouldn't eat anything until I got checked out. After visiting my gp, I was informed I might have appendicitis so I had to go to qa. After I got there I was waiting for around an hour and a half to get checked out. After being checked out, I was told they were going to put me in a ward. I waited 45minutes because a nurse came over and said no-one had told them to put me in a ward. After being put in a ward, They said they were going to look at my blood and it would be done by 4 or 5 pm (it was 12 at the time). At half past 6, I was told that my blood was ok and I just needed to be looked at by a consultant so I could be discharged (apparently they were going to come between 6 & 8 pm). It got to eight pm and every five minutes we kept asking nurses when they would come and the nurse kept bleeping them but then at nine pm we asked if we could just leave and then the nurse said ok. Quite frankly I was very annoyed as I had one jug of water for the day and had no food for 28hours, they still never told me what was wrong with me and by this time I had gotten a lot worse and was also tired, dizzy and quite nauseous.
