The ward was grubby,the visitor's toilets were disgraceful, the food was disgusting and invariably cold by the time it was served.

Nurses,when they could be bothered to interuupt their chatting to come on to the ward we abrupt bordering on rude.

Anything else?

I cannot understand how other people seem to have had a vastly different experience particularly about food.

during my five days in the Vic I lost 7 ounds in weight because I didn't get a single meal which I could enjoy.

I was even refused a slice of toast because "we don't do toast" although the smell of toast being prepared for the nurses own consumption constantly pervaded the air .

I pray I will never have the misfortune to have to stay in the Vic ever again
