My wife has just had to use various critical care departments starting with A&E and I must say how fantastic all the staff where especially A&E who also had to deal with out of control drunks and trouble makers while keeping a smile on their faces, I don't know how they do it. However what I must complain about is that I rang the switchboard to find the visiting hours for the ward she was in at the time only to be transferred to the ward where a very busy hard pressed nurse answered my question. It would have been less disruptive and far easier for the switchboard to tell me, or is that above their pay grade? This information is not on the website and should be so that people need not ring in.
