"Head injury"

About: Addenbrooke's Hospital / Accident and emergency

I was taken to hospital by ambulance on Tuesday 26th Septembet 2016 with a nasty head injury. The ambulance staff were very caring sympathetic and treated me with respect and consideration. They treated me for the head injury and offered pain relief.

On arrival at Addenbrookes I was booked in and later saw a nurse who gave me an identification bracelet and did an assessment and again treated me with respect and dignity. A doctor stitched my wound and was very kind and caring although the injections to numb the site were extremely painful. I have nothing but praise for the staff and the way I was treated. This is the staff of the NHS at their most excellence.
