"Total Knee Replacement"

Having consulted my consultant privately in January after my knee gave way several times over the Christmas break, I was easily persuaded that my left knee needed replacing having experienced minor problems for several years.

As there did not appear to be any urgency for the procedure as my knee had recovered since the incidents, I asked if the procedure could be delayed until August under the NHS after a number of already committed events were completed.

To my great pleasure, this was instantly agreed and a provisional date set.

Of course I had to complete the box ticking required by the NHS system but the August date agreed in January was achieved.

This allowed me to plan my whole year, brilliant!

Everything has gone like clockwork and my recovery is going well.
