"Day Surgery Unit"

My son had a minor procedure done under general anaesthetic and I just wanted to tell you how impressed I was with the care and attention to detail we experienced during our time in the admissions department and the day surgery ward. From the friendly little nurse who did his observations and provided me with tea and biscuits right through to the anaesthetists, the registrar who we had seen the previous week, the surgeon and the 2 nurses who discharged him, I can't speak more highly of them all. I and my husband who joined me were provided with drinks and biscuits which were very much appreciated. Although there was a little change of plan as to where he went following recovery, and we went from one side of the hospital to the other, all the staff were most helpful in helping us locate him. Thank you all who were involved throughout the day.
