"Hospital feedback"

About: Ilkeston Community Hospital

I rang the hospital to ask if I could bring my child as it was late on and was in pain when I rang the receptionist was in a middle of a conversation about their holidays! They gave me attitude in a way of saying you can't just bring him up here which I understood I couldn't do anyway just wanted an caring opinion of what to do but I got an attitude from them. Think they need to have a bit of empathy as it is a care unit!

I am very sorry to hear of your experience when you contacted the Minor Injury Unit at Ilkeston by telephone.

I will raise your concerns with all of the staff in the unit and I would be more than happy to look into this further if you wish to contact me to advise me what date and time this took place.

I hope this does not prevent you from contacting the unit again in the future should the need arise.
