I have now been waiting for my 13 year old daughter to be treated for a hernia at this hospital since she was referred in November 2009. It is now 23 weeks since our first appointment at the hospital and we have heard nothing about her operation. Despite numerous telephone calls to various different departments nobody is able to tell me when she might be seen. Apparently all files are still with the hospital managers who are unable to co-ordinate surgeons and operating theatres. I am very dissatisfied with this hospital and I am now wondering whether to change to another hospital, but wonder if I shall go directly to the bottom of yet another list.
