Yesterday I had a very distressing time at the fracture clinic and I don't want to go back. Had to wait over an hour to be seen, once shown to the consulting room was left to wait again for maybe 10 minutes with no explanation just told to take a seat. When the consultant showed up they didn't tell me anything I didn't already know and then refused to take my wishes into consideration. I was treated roughly which caused me so much pain and at one point the consultant had me on the balls of my feet because they were hurting me so much. I was then told to go to the plaster room for a foam sling where I was left waiting outside for about another 10 minutes I was so upset with the whole thing I couldn't wait anymore and left in tears and a total wreck. I was told to make an appointment for 2 weeks but I haven't because I don't want to go back and see this consultant again.
