What I liked

The care of the staff in the Day unit was exceptional, they all did over and above their duties and made my stay very comfortable.

Food was great, bed very comfortable and ward very clean. Specialist consultant re-arranged their schedule to fit me in.

What could be improved

Communication. Originally I was booked into a ward but on arrival was transferred down to the Day Unit ( although I actually stayed in their ward for a couple of days) and nobody seemed to know why! It took a while to sort this out.

Car parking is difficult but this is an issue at all hospitals I've attended and I would say that it's actually better at KM than at Queens Medical or the City Hospitals

Anything else?

I was admitted as a trauma patient and having had an operation at KM the previous year I was very worried. In 2008 I had a horrendous experience but in March 2010 I was very well looked after a100% improvement! So credit where credits due! Many thanks to the staff at KM
