About: Medway Maritime Hospital / Rheumatology

have had AS since 18yrs old ..had nt seen consultant for years by my choice ,local doc recommened seeing one again.. what a palava! had appointment and offered anti-tnf injetions.. had to have x-ray ,bloods ect and few other appointments which could have been done in one go as was not rocket science .. this took months and months..got random phone call from consultant to say some thing wrong with lungs ,dont worry can still have injection, said need to have flu,phnumonia injet done at local docs, ages trying get appoinment there and they would not do them ! more phone calls to consultant who said we do the anti tnf anyway. weeks later injection turns up at my house ,flashy brouchers,dvd.ect must have cost a packet..nurse showed me how to do injection, felt ill ,tried phoning all the helpfull no,in broucher, what a waste of time! they did nt know anything. kept with it last injection not turned up..has been no follow up no contact. which info said there should be ..total waste of money and time .
