"Admission whilst on holiday"

I was unfortunately an emergency admission to this hospital whilst on holiday. Having come "out of the the other end", I can say without reservation, there would have been no other place I would rather have been given my circumstances. Within 12 hours of admission on a Sunday evening, I had a full diagnosis of my problem. Despite issues in getting a blood sample, and fitting a cannula for a CT scan, tenacity of staff prevailed, hence a speedy diagnosis. Quality of service I received ranging from the Emegency dept to the Discharge lounge was nothing short of exceptional. I would just like to take this opportunity to thank all those members of staff I had contact with during my stay. Totally professional and even in the shadow of what lies ahead for the NHS all staff were highly motivated and professional. Both my partner and myself thank you all xx
