(as the patient),

I had an accident whilst taking a group of children roller blading. The break was quite severe and from the ambulance arriving and being in Rotherham A& E my treatment was first class. I would care to thank all the staff in day care surgery including the theatre nurses and Consultant Mr Blair.

My complex break was finally fixed by using a plate pins & screws I am now recovering with physio.....a long way to go yet.

The staff at Rotherham treated me and all the other patients as though we had gone private..the staff were very sympathetic, understanding, caring and gave constant care...thank you so much

hello my name is Samantha, thank you very much for getting in touch and for your positive comments regarding the treatment and care you received within the Emergency and Day Surgery Departments and by the Theatre Nurses and Mr Blair. It is very reassuring to read your story and I will ensure that they are fed back to the staff who work so hard in ensuring the care we deliver to patients is of a high standard, as well as being compassionate to their needs and that their care and personal attention is appreciated. I have no doubt they will be delighted for your feedback.

Thank you for your response, very kind. I did in fact take flowers in for sister Treen and chocolates & thank you cards for the other staff concerned .....hope they managed to get a yummy chocolate. ........kindest regards
