"Care and professionalism after miscarriages at Homerton hospital"

This year i have, unfortunately, suffered two early miscarriages. In both cases i received care at the Early Pregnancy Unit at Homerton Hospital in Hackney.

Each time the level of care and professionalism from the nursing staff was exemplary. I was seen quickly and told what was happening in a non-patronising but sympathetic manner. I was given time to sit in a quiet room to get myself together and when i was ready the nurses took the time to answer my questions.

During a time of very great distress and shock, being treated like a human being - as i was - made a huge difference. i want to thank those nurses (and the kind receptionist) very much.
