"I wouldn't want my GP to refer me anywhere else!"

I have recently been to the OSSH to have one of my hips examined. I was first referred to a Consultant in January 2014. They were extremely professional with a lovely calm manner, I was at ease and confident straight away. I have suffered with a chronic spine condition since my teens, I'd been passed from pillar to post for countless years and told that I was inoperable. The Consultant offered me an operation to fuse my spine, they went through everything with me. I had the operation 9 weeks later. Every member of staff treated me with absolute respect. It was almost like being in a 5 star hotel, very private and clean, one on one care. I feel very grateful and indebted to the Consultant and their staff, I have gone from struggling to walk and facing a future in a wheelchair to leading an active life again. It was almost upsetting to be discharged from their care! Hand on heart I can't praise and recommend highly enough, thank you all at OSSH.
