"Absolutely disgusting"

About: Queen's Hospital / Accident & emergency

I attended Accident and Emergency for pains in my chest. Having already suffered from a heart attack id have thought they would rush me into have an ECG but no. Kept me waiting for over an hour and half. Now dont get me wrong im not expecting preferential treatment over other patients however i class myself as an emergency. I spoke to the person at the booking desk and said that its disgusting im having to wait so long. I said im going home as i was in too much pain and couldnt sit comfortable on their chairs explaining that I'll call an ambulance when i get home only to be told that if i did id still be at the bottom of the list. So basically i was having a heart attack in their A&E dept and they couldnt care less. Absolutely disgusted by the treatment. Being a woman a heart attack is not at dramatic as a man therfore i was kept waiting because i didnt go in there clutching my chest and collapsing.
