"Wisdom teeth extraction"

About: University Hospital Aintree

After waiting for almost a year to have my impacted wisdom teeth removed I finally recieved the call on the Thursday evening for me to go in and have my op 2 days later on the sat morning ,I had to be there for 7.30am . When I arrived at the

Elective care centre at Aintree ,From start to finish it was a very pleasant experience and I found nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff there. As a very nervous patient and needle phobic I was very frightened about being put under General anasthesia and the procedure itself, but the surgeons, nurses and theatre staff were very quick to reassure me and put my mind at ease. They made sure I understood everything and if there was anything that I didn't , they made quick to rectify this. I ended up being given the cannula for my anasthesia without any numbing agent being applied, which I never thought I would ever be able to do ( I didn't feel a thing) it's because I was put at ease so much that I knew I was in safe hands .I honestly couldn't recommend the Elective care centre enough, because of the care and support I recieved there I will never forget . I kept calling them all Angels, but they really are.

I will never be frightened again to go under general anaesthesia
