"Delivery suite Exceeded expectations by far"

At 12 days overdue I was induced. Unfortunately my experience of the day unit where induction was commenced was short staffed and the building work outside the window was a little off putting to say the least when having contractions. That being said the majority of the staff were pleasant and professional. Once upstairs in the delivery suite my husbands and my expectations were beyond exceeded. The level of care was exceptional, we felt like we were in a private hospital. Throughout my time in the delivery suite we worked our way through three exceptional midwifes and we were over joyed to learn that it was 1:1 care. Every member of staff from the midwives to the consultants to the anaesthetist were professional, caring, warm and friendly. We simply cannot fault anything about the unit. We feel very luck to have had this level of care.
