"After 8 courses of antibiotics ..."

About: Luton & Dunstable Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

After 8 courses of antibiotics in 5 months, my GP was able to make an appointment online for me & I was seen within 4 weeks. I then only waited 1 week between my initial ENT appointment and my CT scan.

CT staff very helpfull and could not fault them.

What could be improved

My CT scan was on 18 march, i recieved the results on 12 April (CT staff told me they normally take 5 days). The letter i recieved stated that the results of the scan were normal and there is no further cause for concern. I have a GP appointment tomorrow to ask for a second oppinion as I have had another infection since my scan, yet the L&D as it's known locally are not going to investigate further.

Anything else?

Although the Dr I saw told me her name and said she was a Dr she did not say if Consultant or registrar, I pressume registrar as the consultant is a Mr. It would just be nice to know.
