"Nurse dismissing symptoms even dismissing..."

Due to collapsing in the street from breathlessness – taken to ED as a precaution some time in August 2016 having been given a diagnosis by 2 GPs of heart failure in November 2015 - on medication, t his appointment was a follow up in the angina clinic – I do not have angina why was I there?.

Outcome - The nurse who examined me told me that although GPs said there was an enlarged heart it could shrink and it had done.

Re previous diagnosis of mitral valve prolapse could heal itself and I did not have it any more.

There was nothing wrong with ECG (which was good) and lungs sounded ok no oedema although one leg larger than the other – nurse felt with hands through clothing and magically could sense it was not.

So, no need to continue to take furusamide or lisinopril as there is nothing wrong, so I have stopped taking these.

Re previous diagnosis of a bruit they said this was always mistaken for an echo carried by the carotid and they did not exist.

Having to wake up every 90 minutes throughout night to urinate was dismissed.

Quite frankly anything I said was dismissed and manner of the nurse was domineering and dismissive (There were two nurses present but only one dealt with me)

X-ray of enlarged blood vessels in the lungs was an effect of how I was positioned during the x-ray.

So there we have it, there is nothing wrong with me everything dismissed without any tests, yet

I am still terribly breathless and it’s getting worse.

Please, don’t confirm to me this is a new way of saving Devon and Cornwall NHS money and making us go private elsewhere.
