In November 2015 I had total right knee replacement surgery at the Horder Centre in Crowborough and this year in July I had total knee replacement surgery on the left knee.
The care I received from beginning to end was outstanding. The staff on Dufferin ward were very caring and professional but above all the atmosphere was cheerful with staff who obviously enjoyed their jobs. This I am sure helped me in my recovery and it felt like being in a hotel as the food was excellent also.
The physiotherapy team were excellent at giving me confidence and really boosted my moral. I must not forget the brilliant surgeon who performed the replacements. I am a very keen walker and I really feel I have been given my life back after many years of enduring pain and limping. The day after my six week check-up I did a 5 mile walk with no sticks and no pain and I can't tell you how wonderful that was. The Horder Centre really is the place to be for orthopaedic surgery and I can highly recommend it.
