"Orthotics for a toddler - left without shoes..."

My daughter needs bespoke shoes due to a deformity of her big toe. She does not fit in any other shoes (apart from a pair of sandals I found in Germany on holiday last year which she has almost grown out of) so relies on her boots. The staff at Rugby St Cross have been good about seeing her without a formal appointment and seem to be trying to resolve the problem. My big issue is with the communication between the factory that makes the shoes and the consultants. They have made pair after pair of shoes which do not fit her. Each boot is made in a different factory (one near Oxford and the other near Bradford) so there is no joined up thinking in how they work together as a pair either. She currently has a pair where one shoe is so heavy she can hardly lift her foot and cannot stand up again unaided if she falls. Please can something be done so my daughter can have practical shoes so she go outside!
