Our son was born in early September 2016 and spent the first 2 weeks of his life in Neonatal.
During this time we had to park at the hospital and it cost me around £100.
On the last day a Neonatal nurse overhead us moaning about the parking charges and told me that we should have had a welcome pack when our child was taken into Neonatal. In that pack would have been a parking concession pass for £10 per week.
How do we get a refund on our charges? We can't afford to be out of pocket by this amount, and its the hospitals fault that the correct admin paperwork was not given to us when our son was admitted.
