"Recent visit to walk in centre"

I was unable to obtain an appointment at my GP surgery and attending a walk in centre was recommended. I visited Ormskirk walk in centre with some trepidation.However, I was seen quickly by the triage nurse, followed by a GP and nurse, who dressed my infected insect bite. The treatment and care I received was excellent. I am a former health care worker and readily recognise the pressures on services in these times of great change. I was, however, most impressed.
