"The medical attention was first ..."

About: Milton Keynes Hospital

(as the patient),

What I liked

The medical attention was first class, and the facilities were all that could be expected of a modern hospital

What could be improved

The food was dreadful, it lacked taste, looked unappetising and looked what it was - food produced on a very tight budget. No attempt was made to accommodate my dietary needs and had I been an in-patient much longer, I would have sought the advice of the hospital dietician.

Anything else?

Since release from hospital, I have not received any indication of when I might expect to be re-admitted for the operation I need. There seems to be an air of secrecy around this, as even my GP is unable to tell me what the waiting time is likely to be. I don't expect to be pushed up the list, but not knowing is very unsettling.
