"Mixed experience at Harris Birthright Centre"

About: King's College Hospital (Denmark Hill) / Gynaecology

(as the patient),

We visited the centre a few days ago. There was a bit of confusion at the beginning, my partner and I had taken a wrong turn and instead of being early, we arrived exactly on time for 12:45.

A person at reception said we were nearly not seen due to being late which we couldn't understand - it said nowhere on the letter that you have to arrive early, only that you may not be seen if you're 15 minutes late. I believe the receptionist had thought we were arriving for a 12: 30 appointment.

Apart from the fraught start, the people there were exceptionally professional and the research fellow doing my scan was very friendly. We didn't have to wait too long at all for the blood test results to come back, which we greatly appreciated.
