"I would still like the play sessions on Wednesday"

About: Chilwell Children's Centre

(as the patient),

Self weigh clinic at chilwell children's centre.

Good idea not always needed, babies don't need to be weighed every week unless there is a problem.

I would still like the play session to be on a Wednesday morning as I sometimes bring my children to play.

I would be worried that the health visiting team would miss out on recognising families that may need support if the clinic session is not facilitated by a healthcare professional.

Hi Naomi G,

Thank you for taking the time to post your questions and queries on this forum regarding planned changes to the Health clinics across Broxtowe.

We have listened to the all the messages that we have received and we are pleased to announce that we will be continuing to deliver sessions where you can access a health professional for advice and guidance while enjoying play activities with your child.

We will be offering a range of options for all parents to access which includes – Self-Weigh sessions, One-to-One appointments and a new Healthy Family Drop-In Session. The Healthy Family Drop-in Session will provide a range of professional services designed around supporting families with young children. Our team of professionals will be able to support you with Child Development, Family Support and Health.

Details will be coming out shortly – further information will be available at your local Children’s Centre and on our Facebook page towards the end of October.

Thank you for your comments and we look forward to meeting you

Tina.
