About: Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital

My review is a little late, I completely forgot about this, for which I apologise. Had my son in June this year, went in to be induced. The staff explained the procedure etc in a way that I could understand it. Even after the induction failed, I was informed of what was going to happen. They were calm and respectful when the pain got too much.

After my sons delivery, the staff on the maternity wing were helpful and always on hand if I needed them; whether it be for help or if I had any questions or concerns. Even the domestics were amazing to interact with. I would like to thank each and every member of staff I had contact with during my stay.

Dear Melissa,

First things first: many congratulations on the birth of your little boy – what an exciting time for you and your family!

I was thrilled to read your review. It’s great to know that we got everything right during such an important time for you.

I will happily play my part by making sure I share your fantastic review with every staff member that was involved with your care. It really will mean a great deal to them.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review despite having your hands full as a new Mum!

All the best to you & your wee one,

Annie
