"more cardiac delays"

We have had may dealings with this hospital recently, most of them excellent, but having had a cardiac monitor to wear for a week over two months ago, following a stroke, we are still waiting for results. We have rung the hospital several times, including today (when there was merely a recorded voice) and have been told that this would be expedited, but there is still no response on our return from holiday. Our Gp has heard nothing either, so it cannot be a question of being lost in the post.
