I had an appointment at clinic, mid-September. I used the gents toilet situated in the 'outpatients corridor' leading to the clinical area. I found the toilets absolutely disgusting and filthy. I have noticed this before on previous visits but this time I decided that enough is enough. A hospital is supposed to assist with health problems and cleanliness should be very important. In this case I think the toilets should be shut down or improved.

Dear benjipete

I am extremely sorry that you found the gents’ toilets within the Outpatient corridor to be in an unacceptable state. Thank you for highlighting this.

Following your comments, I have checked all the outpatient toilets. Whilst they did not appear to be dirty at that time, they are dated. In particular, I noted that there is a sink which needs to be replaced and I have been in touch with our Estates Department to get this rectified.

Thank you once again for bringing this to my attention to enable improvements to be made in this area.
