"Rude staff"

About: King George Hospital

I'm cramping pain in my stomach. I called Gp but there don't have any appoinment left. Then after I called 111 they told me to go King George hospital. My home is quiet far from hospital. When I try to talk with reception the receptionist was so rude to me, and said go back to your Gp. What you do if your Gp don't have appointment and even not walking centre? Very disappointed staff.

Thank you for taking the time to make us aware of your experience. The emergency department should be for emergencies, and not because the GP has no appointments. I understand that this was a really difficult time for you, could you raise your concerns with the GP and the CCG as they will be able to provide an appropriate answer for you.

The Redbridge CCG (Clinical Commissioning Group) can be contacted by calling 0208 926 5205 or by email redccg.complaintsbhrccgs@nhs.net.

Yours Sincerely

Kathryn Halford

Chief Nurse
