"iv never left a bad review in my life.. but"

About: St Michael's Hospital (Hayle)

i would like to start by saying that during my stay in the hospital, for knee surgery, most of the nurses, doctors and surgeons were very helpful, kind and caring (one in particular who was incredibly thoughtful and i am very grateful to them for their help). The hospital was clean, quiet and i was very grateful to the staff who took the time to speak to me and answer my questions and fears. However, my stay in the hospital turned out to be very stressful and upsetting on the second day, after id had the operation. One of the nurses who was in charge and shall remain nameless, had to sort out my return travel home. The nurse became very stressed and annoyed about it all, complaining very loudly in front of everyone that 'this is ridiculous i cannot be bothered to do this'. From then on i felt as if i was a complete nuisance. Every time the nurse spoke to me they seemed stressed and annoyed telling me how difficult it all was for them and was soon flying out the room again. When i experienced difficulties with not being able to get out of my bed to use the toilet and not being in a state to use a bed pan either, i was there for 3 hours (bursting and almost in tears) before anyone came to help me. and having a lot of bleeding from my knee after surgery on the ward, the nurse first accused me of fiddling with it to make it bleed, then warned me not to get anymore on their bed sheets before they disappeared leaving me not knowing what was happening or if anyone was coming to help. I cannot fault the other staff and my surgeon as i feel they did a wonderful job, it is just such a shame that this one particular nurse seemed to be having such a bad day while i was there and made my stay so much more upsetting than it needed to be.
